Went to watch star wars episode 3 this morning with my dad. Shan't say too much to spoil the movie, but all I wanna say is that it is a REALLY dark episode. Really really dark. But aside from that, the movie could be one of the best episodes ever. The fight scenes are way too cool and the movie is so action-packed. I am definately getting the DVD once it comes out. But that isn't the main reason why I liked star wars. The point is there is so much in the movie that one can identify with. ok I'll spill the beans abit, Anakin is actually a good person who is just so unfortunate to be stuck in a situation which forces him to turn evil. The whole Star Wars experience is just so exhilarating and amazing that I never tire out watching the movies over and over again and playing all sorts of Star Wars games. Alot of the ideas behind Star Wars actually draw parallels to our daily life. Not just the dilemma anakin is in, but also the fall of the republic and failure of democracy, and the jedi philosophies which I have noticed draw its ideas from buddism. You could say Star Wars to some sense depicts the lives of each and every one of us and the world we live in. Star Wars is simply amazing.
Later in the eveing met up with some classmates at kap and went to watch the elddfs production. Very funny and hilarious, and also abit the gross... at one point one MALE actor groped another FEMALE actress' breast(it was part of the script) and there was cross-dressing too. But overall the play was very entertaining and I'd say a job well done to the elddfs ppl. Actually I'm from elddfs too but I was too lazy to join this year's production. =P After that went to makan in the area opposite Beauty World with my classmates before heading home. I'm totally tired out but I guess I ought to write abit about this interesting day and keep this place alive.
