In Melbourne!

I'm finally in Melbourne! Finally got the chance to post here! Right now I've moved into the college and settling in still ok. The downside is that my room is not ready and I'm in another temporary room for now. Its kinda run down! But my new room is pretty sweet so hopefully I can move in real soon! Not alot of students have moved in so right now the college is still pretty empty, not to mention scary! Guess that's it for now! Tmr's gonna be a long day!

Today's the day.

Today's the day. In a few hours time I'll be heading to the airport for what will be the biggest step I have taken in my life. Its both scary and exciting.I have never been away from home for more than a few weeks, and now I'm gonna call another country home for a few months! I can really start to feel the excitement building up. I'll have to adapt to survive, but I'm sure that won't be too hard if I can survive 2 years in the army. It'll be fun! I'm sure I'll enjoy myself.

On the other hand, I'll definately miss singapore. All my family, friends, relatives, the familar surroundings of singapore, my house, my room, my bed, all the yummy food I grew up eating, I'll definately miss it all. As much as I hate certain things here, it is after all where I grew up, and it'll always have a special place in my heart.

I have some last minute details to iron out, so guess I'll end here. I should probably thanks in advance all the people who will be going to the airport to send me off later. Thank you guys! And thanks to everyone who sent their well-wishes too. I really appreciate it. Bye everyone!

Happy Chinese New Year!

Happy Chinese New Year! The day I fly off is drawing really near! I can start to feel the urgency more now... only about a week left! And I still have not started! Argh!

Anyway today I had a gathering with some friends and we had a pretty funny yet disturbing conversation... shan't reveals the details, cuz its partially scandalous and not very clean, which kinda suprises me since there were girls present! Well it could mean we are more mature and are more comfortable talking about some adult stuff... but it also means we are getting old! oday we were also talking about hitting the big 20 and soon, 21, which is the last gateway to pass through before becoming an full-fledged adult! Its abit scary... its not something I'm used to.

I still liked the conversation though, its really really funny! Totally hilarious!

2 weeks!

It is exactly 2 weeks more till the big day! I can really start to feel the excitement creeping through me... and I have no idea what o make of it, except that I must start packing my bags!

Onto something else, I think my memory is failing. I cleanly forgot about the wushu lunch that I was supposed to go to this morning. Just last week I forgot another pretty impt appointment as well. I guess I really have to get myself a diary and start using it. It's not ver nice to let people wait. I usually try not to let this happen because I am quite sick and tired of waiting for others in the army. "Rush to wait, wait to rush" was something we learned on the day of enlistment, and I hated it. So I told myself I shall not do this to others, and hopefully they won't do it to me. But now I'm guilty of it too. Feels kinda bad. Sorry guys, hope you all will forgive me.

These few days are gonna be pretty busy. Chinese New Year's coming, so that means on top of bag packing, there is also spring cleaning to be done. Time is really tight these few days.
