OC and greys

GREYS ANATOMY IS BACK! season 5 has started airing on US tv! too bad I can't watch it till I find some way to download it back in sg. Greys anatomy has just been blowing my mind away constantly.

On the other hand, OC has been really awesome. Season 2 certainly has some really great moments. I'm only halfway through it and I'm so into it. The plot is kinda predictable and cheesy at times, but still sweet. Sandy and Kirsten are the moral/ideal couple as always, surviving all kinds of tests to their marriage. The core 4, Ryan, Seth, Marissa and Summer, while abit lame that they each have new love interest, is still really touching when they ultimately come back together. And the music is really awesome too. Its no coincidence that the guy (actually a girl i think) who arranges the music also does the same thing for greys anatomy.

Sunday night was karaoke with the pre-vets. Finally got to meet some of the locals. It was seriously fun, especially after drinking a little too much and getting abit high. There was dancing, singing and drinking. Totally fun. No hangover, but woke up feeling a little weird though.

Exam timetable came out yesterday. 4 days straight of exams. Looks like it'll be a fast and painless death. Also means i'll probably gotta start studying like starting from this week.

Gold Coast

Gold coast was fun! Its great to revisit gold coast after 15 years. I can't really remember much from that trip, except that saltwater didn't taste nice. The apartment we stayed in was SUPER NICE. If only i had such an aparment to live in while studying here. It had a nice sea view! What more could I ask for?

Movieworld had some realy awesome rides. The batman rider was mind-blowing. Pity we didn't get to sit the superman rollercoaster. And a even greater pity that the police academy stuntshow wasn't on anymore. Its the only thing about movieworld that I remember. I checked online and apparently, the show just got cancelled this year.

Seaworld was ok, loved the dolphins! Its kinda small though, i thought it would be a little larger with more exhibits, but then again, marine animals require large bodies of water to live in so i guess u can't squeeze too many exhibits together.

Last day was the really terrible day. Everything that could go wrong all went wrong. We had to cancel our day trip to an island becuz we forgot to request for late checkout. Then dawn's phone decided to go for a dip in the sea, n esthas book went MIA. Then the worse of all, our flight got cancelled! How unlucky can one get! Least we made the most of it n had the dinner at hard rock that we always wanted, n spent one night at sleeping inn which we were initially considering to stay in.

Overall, the trip was fun! Even with the minor hiccup on the last day it was still great.
