My first vet clinic attachment!

This weekend is especially meaningful cause I finally went to clinical attachment at a veterinary clinic! I was kinda nervous the night before cause I did not know what to expect, but after I went there and got acquianted with the staff I realised that they are all quite friendly. There were 2 vet techicians from Phillipines, Robert n Eric and both of them were very friendly! They were so funny at times, dancing around n singing in the middle of surgery! The vets were also nice enough to let me stand next to them during surgery and watch them. I've really learnt and experienced alot in these 2 days, and have seen some more common surgeries lyk sterilsation, euthanasia, cystomy(removing of bladder stones), dental scaling and extraction. Really must thank all the vets and technicians.

Have to mentioned though that it can be very tiring. All the staff were standing n walking about almost all the day. I was so tired when I cam back today afternoon from the clinic. There was another girl who was volunteering at the clinic on sunday when I went there. Turns out shes going melbourne too! So that makes it lyk 2 ppl I noe going melbourne to study vet science so far. Guess I realli wun be that lonely.

I realli look forward to going back there next weekend. And hopefully after a few more times there I can finally decide whether I want to accept a place at melbourne for veterinary science.

I wanna go australia!

This is kinda old news but I also got accepted by Sydney university too... but I guess its very likely that I wll be going to Melbourne anyway so the news doesn't make much of a diff. What I am more concerned is the vet clinic attachment. I haven't heard a thing from the vet who replied me. Sent him another mail and hopefully he reply soon.

Anyway I am kinda happy cause I got $200 for shooting well at the annual range that most soldiers have to shoot. Its called a markmenship for those who dunno. Got it last year, and again this year. That's like $400 spare cash!

Watched Blades of glory today with some of the 75 ppl today. the attendence is so paethetic... onli some of the guys could make it. most of the girls and med ppl are away on vacation cuz they have lyk a 3 month break. I'm so jealous... stuck here in singapore in some army camp and they are havin fun in europe and australia. Looking at the photos of em having fun in aus realli makes me wanna go there soon... I realli wanna get out of army soon, there are so many things tt suck in here. Anyway the movie was hilarious! Totally gay man haha. There are so many parts tt I can laugh my head off man. Muz watch!

No longer a teen... =(

I'm twenty... "welcome to adulthood" according to Eunice. I still remember someone told me that a teenager is from thirteen to nineteen. I wonder how different it will be now that I am a young adult... muz use correct terms eh.

Birthday was spent in camp because of some maintainence course I had to attend. Not exactly what I want, but at least the day after my bday is always a public holiday! Anyway just thanks to all those who wished me happy birthday! Thanks to my campmates who pulled a nerving prank, thanks to my parents and relatives for the gifts and cake, thanks to jiahui, stacy, eunice, yisheng, carine, kim, sam and em for your smses! Going back to camp tonight... and major exercise next week... I must stay strong! Just a few more months...
